Happy Halloween!

October 30, 2009

Happy Halloween everybody!  Here are some pictures of my little Emory in her awesome lion costume.  I took these in my little “fake studio” set-up in my house – not too bad, right?  I was inspired by the very talented and helpful Drew B of the Mom*tog blog.  If you are interested in photography at all, even for just taking better snapshots of your kids, you must go check it out.  She gave great directions on how to set up a natural light studio in your very own home.  I normally use fabric backdrops (as she does), but for these shots I wanted to try out my new seamless paper background.  I really like how it turned out!  I may be offering Mini Milestone sessions in my home in the future for babies one and under, so keep an eye out for that!  I hope that everyone has a very safe and very happy Halloween!

She’s telling our dogs to “sshhhh” in this one because they were barking.  It’s awfully hard to model with all of that distraction! :P

ericamayphotography: Love the seamless paper.. I just bought a black one and a grey one last week and I can't wait to try them out! Emory is so cute!

DrewB: OMG! So cute! Lucky that she would wear her hate because my son definitely would not! Love the setup!
