I’ve been so very blessed in the past year to have some really neat personal accomplishments in the photography world, and I wanted to take a very brief moment to share those with you!  Getting my work published is always a thrill, but I really love it for my clients too!  Who knows, YOU could be the next LHP senior to have your face printed in the pages of a magazine!

Last April I was so excited to have been published in print for the first time!  I wrote an article and supplied accompanying images to the fabulous magazine Lemonade & Lenses.  I cannot express to you how thrilling it was to open up the magazine to see some of my lovely seniors printed on the pages!

One of the most well-respected design companies out there, Design Aglow, contacted me in the spring about supplying some senior images to be used in their new senior album design.  Of course, I was so honored and now you can see Kent pictured above in their sample album images!

You can imagine how incredibly excited I was when Lemonade & Lenses selected two images of my senior client Kent to be published in their “Just One of the Guys” article of their June senior’s issue.

I was very fortunate to have two images selected as Honorable Mentions for Senior Style Guide’s weekly Senior Stunner contest this fall.  Both of these beautiful girls were printed in Issue 3 of their magazine, congrats Alicia and Lena!

Submitting your work to be featured is always nerve-wracking, so I was so happy that the lovely Audrey’s session was accepted and featured on the Lemonade & Lenses blog this fall!

This awesome collaborative session with Vanessa of Butterfly Sparks was published in Inspire Magazine’s first senior portrait issue just this month!   My baby sister is still one of my favorite subjects, and I was thrilled to see her beautiful face published amidst so many awesome industry talents.

I’m so excited to have my session with the beautiful Meagan featured over on an awesome new photography site called Inside the Locker.  It’s all about senior photography, and it has some great inspiration and resources for all of you photographers, and seniors too!  Go check it out! 

I was totally blown away when Tabitha of Confessions of a Prop Junkie asked me to be one of the first featured photographers on her brand new site.  What an honor!  I was a little nervous about a photographer interview, but Tabitha had such great questions it was a piece of cake.  To check out my very candid interview and a special “tip”

Last month, I had the wonderful opportunity to have my work featured over on the awesome new inspiration site TML:Focus, from the ladies of The Maternal Lens.  There are so many amazing photographers and sessions over there, you’d be crazy not to go check it out.  It’s a great place to get some inspiration, whether you are a photographer or a client with an upcoming session.  Thank you ladies for the wonderful opportunity, and thanks to Miss Charly for a killer senior session – “urban vogue” indeed! 

I am so incredibly honored to have one of my senior sessions (starring the beautiful Chandler) featured over on a great photography site, The Lens Loves.  It truly is humbling to have my work published among so many talented photographers.  Even better, the founder of the site, the supremely talented Drew of DrewB Photography, was one of the first photographers I came across whose work really inspired me.  So to be selected for a feature by her is really a dream come true!  Go check it out and make sure to browse the site, there is so much wonderful inspiration to be found.  You can also find Lindsay Horn Photography and LHP Seniors listed under their new nationwide Photographer’s Directory as well!   Thank you Drew and Krista for this great opportunity!

Well, here’s the big news I held back earlier this week!  I’m so very honored to have my recent session with Dani featured over on an awesome photography site, Inspire Me Baby.  I was even more honored when I was asked to write about my inspiration and process posing seniors.  So, make sure to hop on over there to check it out, and let me know what you think!   While you are there, you should look around for some great inspiration and info on all types of sessions, it’s a wonderful resource!

When I got an email last night from Michelle Moore (one of my photography heros – see Inspiration tab above!), it just about made my year!   One of my super fashionable senior sessions is being featured today over on her teen fashion blog Salt & Prep.  I can not tell you how excited I am about this – this was a career aspiration of mine that I can now check off the list!   I’m really honored and humbled to be included among some truly talented photographers over there, and big thanks to Rachel for such a fabulous session.  Make sure you go check it out!  And you senior gals will want to bookmark this site – it is FULL of awesome style and wardrobe tips for your senior session!
