All of my clients are generally pretty excited about their senior portraits, but there are always a few every year who are so enthusiastic – you can tell they have put a lot of time and energy into researching and planning and brainstorming ideas. Megan was one of those girls – her enthusiasm made the whole process so fun, and I love that she came with some great ideas of things she wanted to capture. We ended up with a gorgeous day in one of my favorite urban locations, and Megan brought her A-game! Thanks for being such a fabulous client Megan, and best of luck in the fall!

Cindy is my first Sunnyvale senior to photograph, and she is seriously one of the sweetest girls that I have ever worked with. Not only that, but as you can see she is absolutely gorgeous too! We got a nice mix of urban and greenery for her session, and she was SO easy to photograph. She made my job way too easy. I can tell where she gets her kind attitude too – her parents and her little brothers came along for some of the shoot and it was such a treat. Also, little brothers make great assistants! :) Cindy is headed down to UT in the fall where I know she will very quickly be surrounded by lots of new (and very lucky) friends. Enjoy your time in Austin Cindy!

I was so excited when Jordan decide to book my Exclusively {YOU} session this spring – that always means another opportunity to collaborate with the amazingly talented Vanessa with Butterfly Sparks for a styled shoot! Jordan certainly gave us a lot to work with. She has such an adventurous spirit, loves to travel, and really has a modern bohemian vibe about her. We decided to tackle this in two parts – a vintage styled shoot at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum and a bohemian styled shoot at a Plano nature preserve. I could not have been more excited about seeing everything come together, and Jordan’s wardrobe choices were spot on. The day of our shoot was anything but perfect – a lovely cold front blew through and we dealt with a fairly steady mist, but Jordan did not let it stop her from having a blast and neither did we. :) I owe a huge thanks to Courtney with Chi Ro Makeup for her work as well, I just loved the different looks she gave Jordan on location (and in a steady mist no less)! Jordan is headed off to Tampa in the fall where I think her adventure is only just beginning. :) Best of luck Jordan!

Katie’s family is the next door neighbor to one of my favorite 2013 seniors, and I was so glad that they were kind enough to refer me! That’s always the best compliment a past client can give me. We lucked out with the most perfect day for Katie’s senior portraits and her warm smile and totally awesome wardrobe were equally as perfect. Katie is a huge fan of Altar’d State (like me!), and Altar’d State featured her over on their Instagram feed. How cool! :) Katie is headed to Arkansas this fall where I know that gorgeous smile will serve her well. Thanks for a great session Katie!

Farren is a very talented actress heavily involved in her school’s theater department, so it was difficult to find a good time to schedule her portraits. We came up with the perfect solution … a sunrise session! While a nice little cool front left it a little cooler than normal, the light was truly amazing, and I’m totally hooked on sunrise. Farren had great diversity in her outfits which lent itself perfectly to the vary diverse areas around downtown McKinney. Farren is such a sweetheart and her smile is truly infectious. She is headed off to TCU in the fall – best of luck next year Farren, break a leg! :)

Katie is one of those people that just exudes friendliness and personality – she was so easy to chat and laugh with, and equally as easy to photograph. I love the mix of bold vibrant colors with more muted looks that she brought, she could wear it all! We had an absolutely beautiful session day in one of my favorite Dallas locations. She put up with trudging through creek beds,  tunnels, seemingly endless pathways, etc.  She was such a sport! Katie is headed to Alabama in the fall, where I have no doubt she will be making friends left and right.  Best of luck in the fall Katie, Texas will miss you!

Carlie is my first Coppell senior to work with, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to a new area. Not only is she beautiful, but she is so sweet and humble – I don’t think she believed me during her session when I told her she was killing it! :) Carlie is also a photographer, so I enjoyed getting to talk shop with her a bit too. I had several budding photographers book me for their senior portraits this year, it’s always such an honor! Carlie is headed to A&M in the fall where I have no doubt she will fit right in. Best of luck next year Carlie, and I’m so glad that you decided to step outside the box and try someone new for your senior portraits! :)

I just loved working with Shelby, what a natural in front of the camera!  We had a pretty breezy day, but we made it work for us and got some beautiful images. Shelby is a volleyball player and dancer, what a killer combination. I bet that’s how she managed to be so effortlessly graceful in front of the camera. :) Shelby is headed off to Mizzou in the fall, and I just know she will find a lot of success there! Thanks for a great session Shelby, even on a windy day, and best of luck in the fall!

Holly’s session took place on an absolutely perfect early spring day! Throw in some seriously amazing outfits, Holly’s gorgeous laughing smile, and that perfect Disney princess style hair, and I knew we were in for some fun. :) Holly is a very talented softball player for Plano West, and TALL like me!  Love that she rocked her heels all the same. :) Holly is headed to Abilene Christian University in the fall – I wish you the very best in this next phase of your life Holly!

I was so honored when Allie and Rachel’s mom contacted me, they drove all the way from Fort Worth over to my side of Dallas for their spring break portrait session. And I’m so glad they did! It’s always a treat to work with twins, and these two were no exception. Beautiful and sweet, I especially love the shots we got of them together. You can tell that their sisterly bond is strong. So strong, that I know it will withstand the distance between them next year … Allie will be heading to Belmont and Rachel will be off to West Texas A&M. Both girls are soccer players too, I loved chatting about soccer with them. I sure do miss it! Best of luck to both of you next year!
